4-year-old raped, abandoned near rail tracks in unconscious state

New Delhi, June 22 (UNI) A four-year-old was allegedly raped and abandoned near railway tracks in Krishna Nagar area of East Delhi today.

The child has been admitted to the Swami Dayanand Hospital and is in a critical condition, according to sources.

She was found in an unconscious state by a person, who had gone to relieve himself early morning today, near the tracks at Geeta Colony-Old Seelampur rail intersection, under Krishna Nagar police station.

Police have recovered a trouser, a mobile dummy and slippers from the site where the child was allegedly raped and abandoned.

The child had been missing since 2100 hrs yesterday and her father, a TSR driver, had lodged a missing report with the police.
