39 officials suspended in North Kashmir

Srinagar, June 22 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir government today suspended 39 official including two assistant surgeons for remaining absent from duty.

A special checking squad headed by Assistant Commissioner Handwara paid a surprise visit of sub district hospital, Handwara in Kupwara district and found 28 officials including two assistant surgeons absent from duty At the recommendation of the squad, the Deputy Commissioner Kupwara has ordered action order under against the absentees.

Meanwhile, action of similar nature has been ordered against 11 absent employees including six doctor and paramedical staff of sub district agriculture office at Kupwara who were also found absent from duty.

Action under rules has been initiated against absentees also.
