We welcome Poonch-Rawalkot bus service: Cong

New Delhi, June 21: The Congress today welcomed the launch of another bus service between India and Pakistan, describing it as one more important step towards building confidence among the people of the two countries.

The Poonch-Rawalkot bus service, flagged off by Congress President and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi yesterday, had demolished another wall of mistrust between the two countries, party spokesperson Jayanti Natarajan told reporters.

The Congress looked forward to building of more such bridges of friendship between New Delhi and Islamabad, she said.
