Water levels in major Kerala reservoirs decline
Kochi, Jun 21 (UNI) The water level in the major reservoirs of Kerala decreased last week, according to the figures released by the Central Water Commission.
For the week ending June 19, the water level in the Kallada reservoir decreased from 330.05 ft to 328.48 ft and at Idukki from 2315.86 to 2311.89 ft.
However, compared to the levels recorded during the same period last year, the Idukki reservoir showed an increase of 13.53 ft. and Kallada 14.26 ft., an official release said here today.
