TN Govt effects reshuffle of police officers

Chennai, June 21 (UNI) In yet another reshuffle, the Tamil Nadu Government today transferred and promoted 16 police officers.

S Ramanathan, IPS, Deputy Inspector General of Police, was posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Armed Police, Chennai, in an existing vacancy.

S Rajendran, IPS, Deputy Inspector General of POlice/Deputy Commandant General, Home Gurard, Trichy, was transferred and posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Crime branch CID (SIT), Chennai, vice G Uma Ganapathy Sastry, IPS was transferred.

G Uma Ganapathy Sastry, IPS, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Crime Branch CID (SIT), Chennai, was transferred and posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Coastal Security Group, Chennai in an existing vacancy.

K Nandabalan, IPS, Deputy Inspector General of Police, was posted as deputy Inspector General of Police, Social Justice and Human Rights, Chennai, in an existing vacancy.

A Pari, IPS, Superindent of Police, Enforcement, Salem, was transferred and posted as Superindent of Police, Dindigul District in place of K N Sathiyamurthy, IPS, who was transferred.

K N Sathiyamurthy, IPS, Superindent of Police, Dindigual District, is transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, Special Investigation Cell-II, Chennai, vice Su Arunachalam, IPS, transferred.

Su Arunachalam, IPS, Superitendent of Police, Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, Special investigation Cell-II, Chennai, was transferred and posted as Assistant Inspector General of Police, headquarters, Chennai, in an existing vacancy.

N Rajasekaran, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Kanyakumari District, was transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Washermenpet, Greater Chennai.

S Murugan, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Thiruvannamalai District, was transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Kanyakumari District, in place of N Rajasekaran, IPS, transferred.
