Three killed as Tata Sumo overturns in Sikar
Sikar, June 21 (UNI) Three people were killed when a Tata Sumo overturned as the driver lost control of the vehicle in Sikar district.
The police said two other passengers were injured in the accident.
The speeding Tata Sumo was on its way from Sikar to Kotputli around 0200 hrs in the wee hours today. The accident occurred in the Patan police station area.
The vehicle was on high speed and it overturned as the driver lost control suddenly. Those travelling in the vehicle are Jagan Singh, 40, Ashok Kumar, 35, died on the spot while injured Sant Kumar,38, died in the government hospital in Neemkathana later.
The driver, however, fled away from the accident site. The injured Rashid Manihar has been referred to Jaipur's Sawai Mansingh Hospital while another injured Ram Gopal was released from the hospital after first aid.
