Tension prevails due to rush in Tirumala temple
Tirupati, June 21: Tension prevailed at Cellar issuing counter in Lord Venkateswara temple at Tirumala today due to heavy rush.
The devotees, who were standing in the queue, protested against the TTD officials, following the delay in issuing cellar tickets.
The TTD officials said the situation was brought under control, after the intervention by the vigilance officials.
In the last three days, the devotees in the temple, had to wait for 70 hours in the free darshan counter and 50 hours in the Rs 50 special darshan counter to have a glimpse the almighty , the officials added.
