RCF secures export of Rs 68.7 crore
Kapurthala, Jun 21 (UNI) The Railway Coach Factory(RCF) Kapurthala has secured orders for export of rail coaches worth over Rs 68.7 crore during a period of two years.
The RCF General Manager Pratap Srivastava told reporters that 36 meter gauge coaches, fetching revenue of Rs 19.26 crore, had already been exported to Myanmar during the last fiscal. These coaches included 22 ordinary Chair Cars and 12 Upper Class Chair Cars.
Mr Srivastava said that second export order of 20 day coaches, worth Rs 11.45 crore, for the suburban service of Senegal Railways was under execution.
Besides this, an order of 50 Interlinked train coaches worth Rs 38 crore between Senegal and Mali had been secured for execution in the current year, he added.
