RBI caps investment by FIIs for Cranes Software, Power Trading Corp

Mumbai, June 21 (UNI) The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) today notified that no further purchase of equity shares of Cranes Software International Ltd and Power Trading Corporation of India Ltd be made on behalf of the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) under the portfolio investment scheme (PIS) through primary and secondary dealers in India without obtaining prior permission of the apex bank.

Stating this, a RBI release said that both the aforementioned companies have reached the limit of 22 per cent of its paid-up capital.
