Punjab govt to clear Reliance project on June 26
Bathinda, June 21: The Punjab government will give its nod to the prestigious project of the Reliance Industries Limited to set-up business hubs in the state later this month.
The project will be cleared by the state Cabinet at its meeting at Chandigarh on June 26, Chief Minister Amarinder Singh here today said in an informal chat with media persons.
The cabinet will also take a final decision on abolishing octroi, Capt Singh said.
Regarding reduction in the prices of diesel and petrol, he said that the state government had already reduced the price of diesel and petrol by 49 paise and 90 paise per liter respectively out of its additional revenue of Rs 100 crore on account of the hike in petro prices.
