Pranab visits Sainik School at Koderma

Koderma, Jun 21 (UNI) Defence Minister Pranab Mukherjee today taught the lessons of becoming a responsible citizen to the students of Sainik School, Tillaya of Jharkhand's Koderma district.

According to his Scheduled programme Defence Minister was here to inaugarate a squash court and swimming pool in the school premises.

While addressing huge gathering of students, Mr Mukherjee advised students to prepare themselves in such a way so that they they could play an important role as a citizen of India.

He also explained the qualities of Indian civilisation. He said, " Indian civilisation is still alive only because of its specialities. " State HRD Minister Pradeep Yadav, Principle Dr Mahesh Kandpal Commander of Indian Navy, Headmaster A K Sharma were also present pn this occasion.
