D.Litt conferred on Minister Pranab Mukherjee

Hazaribagh, Jun 21: Defence Minister Pranab Mukherjee was today conferred honorary D. Litt by Vinoba Bhave University here.

Jharkhand Governor and Chancellor Syed Sibte Razi honoured Mr Mukherjee with the degree in the third convocation ceremony of the university.

The Governor said Mr Mukherjee was honoured for his contribution to the nation by social science faculty of the university.

Mr Razi and the Defence Minister later awarded PHD degrees to 27 students of different faculties. As many as 29 students received gold medals.
