MP student to visit NASA

Bhopal, June 21 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan presented a draft of Rs 50,000 to Jabalpur-based Rani Durgavati University MSc (Physics) first-year student Saket Kaurav who has been invited to visit the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration.

The draft was gifted yesterday on behalf of the BJP's Shahdol district unit whose President Indrajit Singh Chhabda was present, an official release said here.

Mr Kaurav -- who belongs to a village near Kareli in Narsinghpur district and is profoundly interested in astronomy -- was selected through a global knowledge test and would be apprised of the nuances of rocket technology during his trip, the release added.
