MCD makes arrangements to meet last days rush to deposit prop tax
New Delhi, June 21 (UNI) The Municipal Corporation of Delhi has made elaborate arrangements to meet the huge rush for depositing property tax, keeping in view the fact that the last date for payment of the tax with 15 per cent rebate is June 30.
In order to meet the rush for depositing property tax, all offices of the property tax department will remain open on the Saturday, June 24 and Sunday, June 25, Assessor and collector Anil Bamba said.
The timings of the citizen service bureaus have also been extended.
Mr Bamba said the citizen service bureau (CSB) counters will also remain open on Saturday and Sunday falling on June 24 and 25 from 0830 Hours to 1730 hours.
The timings of the CSB counters have also been extended to 0800 hours to 2000 hours, from June 26 to June 30.
Senior officers of the property tax department will be available to provide help and assistance to the tax payers in filling up of property tax return forms and depositing property tax through manual G-8 receipts.
