Krrish given final touch ups by Chennai's Prasad Films
New Delhi, June 21 (UNI) Much-awaited movie Krissh will have over 1200 special camera effects, with largest ever visual effects shots (VFX) in a Hrithik Roshan starrer Bollywood film, provided by Chennai-based Prasad Film Labs.
Hollywood VFX supervisors Craig Mumma, who has to his credit films including Independence Day and Godzilla, and Marc Kolbe worked with a team of more than 100 VFX specialists in Prasad EFX to come out with the special effect sequences.
''We have done 3D modeling and animation including whole body scans. A lot of 3D models of cars, bikes, helicopter, birds and animals were created and animated to match live action footage,'' Prasad EFX Senior Line Producer Himakumar said.
The company also provided the Digital Intermediate service for Krrish and made over 700 prints of the movie for national and global distribution.
Prasad Group has offices across India, Singapore, Dubai and Hollywood and offers every service required for the post production of feature films.
It has worked on many international projects and has recently entered into agreements with some Hollywood studios for VFX projects in mainstream Hollywood films.
