Iraq police confirm Saddam's lawyer killed

BAGHDAD, June 21 (Reuters) Iraqi police today confirmed that one of Saddam's chief defence lawyers, Khamis al -Obaidi, had been killed and said the lawyer had been kidnapped in Baghdad.

Police said Obaidi was shot dead and his body was found in the capital.
