I M Vijayan to witness World Cup encounters

Kozhikode, Jun 21 (UNI) Ace footballer I M Vijayan will witness matches between top teams from the last four stage of the on going World Cup Soccer in Germany.

Talking to UNI, Vijayan said he would leave for Germany on July 4 and would watch the semifinals and the final of the mega event.

Vijayan's trip is being sponsored by leading international electronic giant Philips through its local distributor Nandilath Group of Companies, he said.

Asked about the possibile winner, Vijayan, who represented the country in many international matches said ''Going by the performance so far, Argentina have an edge over the others.
