Kolkata, June 21 (UNI) The person, who made a hoax bomb call to the NSCBI airport last evening, has been traced and arrested by the police.

24 parganas (North) SP Pravin Kumar told UNI that Debanjan Ganguly (28), a resident of Maniktala in north Kolkata and an employee of a call centre under Hare Street police station was traced this morning from the number which was recorded in the call location machine installed at the airport.

Ganguly rang up the office of the Airport Director at about 1920 hours thrice yesterday, claiming that a bomb would explode on the evening flight of 'Indian' IC-402 that would be leaving Kolkata for Delhi later that evening.

However, a thorough search of the aircraft revealed nothing.
