HC allows withdrawal of nominations

Hyderabad, June 21: In a breather to the Andhra Pradesh Goverment, a Division Bench of the High Court today allowed withdrawal of nominations for the Local Body Elections, and posted hearing on the appeal of the State Election Commission and the state Government against the quashing of the election process by a single judge for tomorrow.

The Bench, comprising Chief Justice Singhvi and Justice Sitapathy Rao, ordered that the process for withdrawal, today being the last day, will continue in the wake of non-availability of the orders passed yesterday by the single judge.

The Bench ordered making a copy of the single judge's order available and posted the case for tomorrow.
