Former MLA surrenders in court

Patna, Jun 21(UNI) Former MLA from Godda constituency Rajnish Anand today surrenderd before a local court here in a case of rash and negligent driving causing the death of a person.

The court, however, granted regular bail to Mr Anand.

According to the FIR, victim Sanjay Kumar was knocked down by Mr Anand's vehicle at Bailey road near the New Secretariat on June 18 last. He succumbed to his injuries at Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) the next day.
