Dubai based minor girl kidnapped and raped

Mumbai, June 21 (UNI) A 15-year-old Dubai based girl was kidnapped and raped by a person at Martin Pareira Chawl, Kurla Jarimari road in eastern suburbs.

Ashok Kumar Manshi (56), grandfather of the victim, said his grand daughter was kidnapped from the custody of her parents from Dubai on June 15, this year at 0130 hrs by arrested accused Mohammed Sadiq Jahid Ahmed Sheikh (22). He brought her to Mumbai and raped her, the police said here today.

Mr Manshi said his grand daughter was stuying in Dubai and the accused, working as a salesman in Dubai, had kidnapped her, brought to Mumbai and raped her.

Kurla police has registered kidnapping and rape case against the accused and further investigations is on, police added.
