DU assures SFI to examine fee-hike in colleges

New Delhi, June 21 (UNI) The Delhi University has assured the Students' Federation of India (SFI) that a committee will be formed to examine the fee-hike by various colleges.

According to an SFI statement, the university authorities also assured the students that it try to convince various college principals to have double shifts.

Six students of the SFI today ended their 48-hour hunger strike at the Vice Chancellors office.

The SFI said fee hike was not justified in science courses of various colleges for building more labs, especially when the university itself is giving computer and lab equipment of over Rs 10 lakh to every college.
