Bihar must have atleast one SEZ: Chidambaram
Patna, Jun 21 (UNI) Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram today said that Bihar must have one special economic zone (SEZ) under the Central government plan.
During an interaction session organised by ADRI, Mr Chidambaram said the state should come forward to attract investors to come to the state and develop the SEZ. He said the Bihir government must open the doors of opportunities for entrepreneurs and investment will not be constraint for the development of the state.
IT society of India president Manoj Kumar Sarraf drew the attention of Mr Chidambaram towards providing support to local existing as well as new IT industries by providing total exemption from payment of Income Tax for first ten years as similar packages are being offered to units in SEZ existing in other part of the country.
