Anand Kausalyayan's death anniversary to be observed tomorrow

Nagpur, June 21 (UNI) The 18th Mahaparinirvan Day (death anniversary) of internationally renowned Buddhist monk Dr Bhadant Anand Kasusalyayan will be observed tomorrow at Buddhabhoomi Mahavihar near here.

A Mahavihar communique today said various functions including the late Dr Kausalyayan's Ashthi Darshan and lecture series of his life and works, have been organised on the occasion.

Bhadant Sadanand Mahathero, Bhadant Dr Dhyanratna Mahathero, both from New Delhi have been specially invited as the chief guests.

Buddhabhoomi Mahavir President Bhadant Satyashewel Mahathero would preside over the functions.

Prominent thinker Advocate Ram Khobragade (Delhi), Milind Buddha (Bhopal), Noted poet Bhola Sarwar, Prof Duttanand Ingole and Prof Rajesh Nagarkar would deliver the lecture on Dr Kausalyyan, it added.
