Airport police detains three Iranian nationals, drug seized

Mumbai, June 21 (UNI) The Sahar International Airport police has detained three Iranian nationals, carrying 2.5 kg white powder, believed to be 'Heroin' while boarding an Air Iran flight early today.

The seized substance has now been sent to a laboratory for tests to facilitate further investigation. As the detained persons do not understand Hindi or English, as a result the police has sought an interpreter, informed a senior police official.
