Advance bail refused to technocrat

Patna, Jun 21 (UNI) Special Vigilance Judge of Patna Ram Niwas Prasad today rejected the anticipatory bail plea of Superintendent Engineer of flood control Khagaria circle Md Hasan Majid (since retired) in a Disproportionate Assets (DA) case.

According to the charges, the accused had amassed property worth at Rs 2.15 lakh, which was disproportinate to his known sources of income, between 1960 to 1991.

The case was registered against him in 1998.

The state Vigilance Investigation Bureau had alredy submitted chargesheet in the case.
