5 Bangladeshis burglars arrested

New Delhi, June 21 (UNI) Police have arrested five Bangladeshi nationals on charges of robbery from government quarters and then sending the stolen items to Bangladesh through agents.

The accused, all aged between 18-30 years and involved in 14 cases of burglaries, were arrested yesterday from a park near the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Lodhi Colony, the police said.

They were arrested as they were planning another robbery.

Stolen items including jewellery, watches and cameras worth Rs 1.5 lakh, along with a knives and firearms, were recovered from their possession.
