12 suspects arrested, a complex raided in Kashmir

Srinagar, Jun 21 (UNI) About 12 suspect were arrested by the Special Operation Group (SPG) of Jammu and Kashmir police during night-long raids in the Kashmir valley.

Meanwhile, SOG also raided a complex, also housing the office of ''Daily Khadmit,'' the official newspaper of the Congress, near here this morning.

Official sources said the SOG raided a number of places in the Kashmir valley, particuarly in the city and arrested about 12 suspecteds.

The night-long raids follows arrest of seven person allegedly involved in the recent grenade attacks on tourists in the city.

They said interrogation of the arrested persons was going on and more arrests would be made in next few days.

Sources said SOG, teams, accompanied by a suspect, also raided a complex owned by Khadmit trust, also housing the office of Daily Khadmit this morning.
