Youth from Asom murdered

Kannur, June 21 (UNI) A 21-year-old youth, hailing from Asom, was found murdered with multiple injuries at Palattupalam in the district today.

Police identified the deceased as Vijay Naik, an employee in a plywood factory at Valapattanam.

The youth, working in the factory for the last three years, was living along with 15 workers from Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Asom.

When the workers went to the house for lunch, they found the body lying in a pool of blood.
