Tech Mahindra to set up campus in Kolkata

Kolkata, Jun 20 (UNI) Tech Mahindra, a leading IT solution provider to telecom companies, today said it will set up a software development centre in 12 acres of land in the Bantala SEZ.

Tech Mahindra's vice-chairman and managing director Vineet Nayyar told reporters the campus would be capable of employing 5,000 software professionals.

The Kolkata centre would be a centre of excellence for Tech Mahindra's various offerings, Nayyar said.

Earlier, Tech Mahindra had set up its 32,000 square foot facility in the Bengal Intelligent Park and employed 325 people.

The company plans to employ 350 more employees in the current year.
