Tata Indicom, Samsung launch Anti-theft Mobile Tracker handset

Kolkata, June 20 (UNI) Leading telecom service provider Tata Teleservices and leading handset company Samsung Telecommunications India Pvt. Ltd. today launched India's first Anti-theft Mobile Tracker and Emergency SOS Alert CDMA mobile handset.

The handset is priced at Rs 1499.

In case the phone is stolen and the SIM card on the phone is replaced, the handset automatically sends an SMS to two pre-selected numbers giving the contact number of the new user without his/her knowledge.

The emergency SOS enables the user in trouble to automatically get help by its Emergency SOS Alert.
