Royal Sundaram ties up with ING Vysya bank

New Delhi, June 20 (UNI) Royal Sundaram Alliance Insurance Company Ltd today said it has tied up with ING Vysya Bank for distribution of general insurance products.

As per the agreement, ING Vysya Bank will distribute health, personal accident, motor, travel and home insurance products through the banks' branch network and will increase insurance penetration in the SME and rural segments.

''With ING Vysya's prominent presence in major metros, smaller cities and towns, this partnership will prove to be a great help in providing easy access to insurance solutions to the wider customer network,'' Royal Sundaram MD Antony Jacob said.

ING Vysya Bank Ltd, a private sector bank is having 1.5 million customers in retail, private and wholesale banking.

Royal Sundaram Alliance Insurance Ltd, a joint venture between Sundaram Finance and Royal and Sun Alliance, is having a stake of 74 per cent in the venture.
