Popular US Hip Hop Dance group 'Havikoro' to rock Delhi

New Delhi, June 20 (UNI) The US Hip Hop dance group 'Havikaro', which uses dance to communicate their message of positive life choices and clean living among young people, is all set to rock the capital from tomorrow.

The Houston-based group, which started out in 2000 when a group of friends chose dance over negative activities such as drugs and violence in their neighbourhood, will perform in the capital for two days from tomorrow, to spread their message among the youth here.

The Group, which is known for break dancing, popping and flunk, will give three performances in the Delhi area, with their big performance at Centrestage Mall in Noida on Thursday.

Havikaro, which includes Richard Camargo, Amado Ramirez, Joel Martinez and Kirk Beecher, is in the capital as part of a three-nation tour of India, Turkey and Turkmenistan from today to July 7.

Sponsored by Span magazine, the flagship publication of the US Embassy, and the American Information Resource Center, the event is an attempt to share with young Indians the message of a clean and positive life.
