One killed and six others injured

Mumbai, June 20 (UNI) One person was killed and six others were injured due to lightning this afternoon at Girgaon Chowpatti in south Mumbai.

According to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) disaster management centre sources, one Sakuri More (22) was killed and six others were injured when lightning struck on them around 1245 hrs at Girgaon Chowpatti in south mumbai.

Six persons were admitted in Nair hospital at Bombay Central and their health condition is out of danger.

As per the Indian Meteorogical Department (IMD) forecast, spell of rainfall or thundershower will occur in city and its suburbs during next 24 hours.
