Kumaraswamy flays Cong for stalling Assembly proceedings
Bangalore, June 20 (UNI) Coming down heavily on the Congress for stalling the proceedings of the Karnataka Assembly over the controversial Bangalore Mysore Infrastructure Corridor (BMIC) project, Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy said its behaviour amounted to nothing but utter disrespect to the Chair.
Speaking after hosting a lunch to newspersons on the occasion of moving into his new official residence 'Anugraha' here, he said though he was ready to discuss the issue in detail and answer every question in the Assembly, the Congress members were determined to stall the proceedings.
He advised the Congress to co-operate in running the business of the House and act as a constructive opposition.
On his new residence, the Chief Minister said it would be open not only for legislators and ministers, but also for every common man who wanted to meet him for redressal of grievances.
