K'taka cabinet likely to be expanded on Jun 21
Bangalore, June 20: The over four-month-old Janata Dal (S)-Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) coalition ministry in Karnataka is likely to be expanded tomorrow.
Official sources here today said eight ministers, four each from the two parties, were likely to be inducted into the cabinet.
The coalition government was formed on February three last, with Mr H D Kumaraswamy of the JD (S) and Mr B S Yediyurappa of the BJP, swearing in as Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister respectively.
The two-member ministry was expanded on February 17 by inducting 11 members from the BJP and nine members from the JD (S).
