Kiss and yell: Mehndi bros defend Mika

Jabalpur, June 20 (UNI) Pop singers Daler Mehndi and Ustad Shamsher Mehndi have said the Rakhi Sawant-Mika Singh kiss controversy was an upshot of the deleterious effect of ''western culture'' parties.

''In five-star hotels, kissing is part of the tradition. Rakhi first smeared cake on my brother Mika's cheek and kissed him. We are six brothers and all of us are singers,'' Shamsher told journalists here yesterday.

Rakhi had earlier reiterated that she would not withdraw her case till Mika comes up with a public apology.
