India, Pak talks on Wuller barrage on June 22

Islamabad, Jun 20 (UNI) Talks between India and Pakistan on the ''contentious'' issue of Wullar Barrage will be held here on June 22.

The Indian delegation will include water secretary, legal advisers, engineers and commissioner of the Indus Water Treaty.

Water and Power Secretary Ishfaq Mahmood will lead the Pakistani delegation at the negotiations.

Islamabad opposes the Wullar barrage on the grounds that it will disrupt water flow from river Jhelum into Pakistan.
