Hyderabad management association announced annual awards

Hyderabad, Jun 20 (UNI)The Hyderabad Management Association(HMA) would organise its annual awards presention function here on June 24, where awards would be conferred on "Manager of the year", "Entrepreneur of the Year","Small Scale Entrepreneur of the year", Personnel Manager of the year", "Life time Achievement Award" and "HMA Member of the Year".

The Manager of the Year award would be given to Chief Operating Officer, L&T Infocity, R. Sridaran in recognition of his outstanding leadership and managerial skills, executive officer of HMA Lt.Cal Prem Kumar (retd) said today.

The Entrepreneur of the year award would be given to Managing Director and Co-founder, Sec Industries pvt ltd, Mr D Vidyasagar in recognition of his outstanding entrepreneurship in promoting and managing a company in the large/medium scale sector, which achieved exceptional performance and growth.

The small scale entrepreneur of the year award would go to Managing Director Anand Manne, Polmon Instruments, pvt ltd in recognition of exemplary entrepreneurship and innovation in performance and growth of the organisation.

The Personnel Manager of the Year Award was Executive Vice-President Human Resources and Corporate Affairs, Infotech Enterprises, B.Ashok Reddy in recognition of exemplary performance through outstanding management of human resources and industrial relations.

The Life Time Achievement Award would be given to the Chairman Centre for Organisation at Development Dr.B.L Maheshwari, in recognition of his unique achievements and for manifesting a very high level of competence and excellence in institution building and social responsibilities.

The Member of the Year award was for life member HMA Mr S Sivakumar, to recogize outstanding contributions of a member of the HMA to the development of the managerial movement in general and activities of HMA in particular.

The jury, comprising eminent persons like Justice Dasaratharama Reddy, retired Judge of the Andhra Pradesh High Court Mr.D.V.Dharnik, Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Mr.K.Ramakrishnan, Chairman and Managing Director , Andhra Bank, Mr.Utpal Sen Gupta, President Agro Tech Foods ltd, Dr. M.Ramamohan Rao, Dean, Indian School of Business, Mr.R.H.Khwaja, Chairman and Managing director, Singareni Colleries , Co Ltd and S Sivakumar, President, HMA, had made selection of the awards.
