Hrishida still in ICCU but stable

Mumbai, June 20 (UNI) The condition of Dadasaheb Phalke award winner Hrishikesh Mukherjee is stable but he is still in the ICCU.

Speaking to UNI, his son-in-law Pradeep Bhattacharya said Hrishida is stable.

Hrishida was admitted to Lilavati Hospital with renal failure more than a fortnight ago.

Maker of films like ''Satyakam'', ''Anupama'', 'Golmaal'',''Chupke Chupke'' and many others, Hrishida brought the best out of superstars like Dharamendra, Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan to the fore.

His last film was ''Jhooth Bole, Kauwa Kaate,'' which was not a critical or commercial success.

Since he has been in the hospital celebrities like Jaya Bachchan, Dharamendra, Farooq Shaikh, Gulzar and many others visited him.
