Hikal wins the ACNielsen CIO Jury award

New Delhi, June 20 (UNI) Hikal Ltd, an outsourcing partner for leading global life sciences companies, has won the ACNielsen CIO Jury award for Technology Innovation.

Commenting on the award, Hikal Vice Chairman and Managing Director Jai Hiremath said, ''IT implementation and state-of-the-art control system in plants has helped us improve our operational efficiency, thereby keeping us ahead of competition in today's global scenario.'' Hikal is involved in custom synthesis and manufacturing of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs), Intermediates and Crop Protection products.

The ACNielsen CIO Jury award was conceptualised to recognise Indian Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs), who have innovatively used technology to address business challenges. The award process is designed and measured by the Technology Practice of ACNielsen and Computer Society of India.
