Hardcore ultra carrying reward of Rs one lakh held

Latehar, June 20 (UNI) Security personnel today arrested a hardcore Maoist ultra carrying a reward of Rs one lakh from the forest near Jamua village of this district.

According to police, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans along with district police raided the forest this morning and nabbed Basant, who was working as a self-styled commander of the proscribed CPI(Maoist).

He was wanted in several criminal cases, including blasts and murder.
