Faizabad to get international standard sports complex
Lucknow, June 20 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh government today sanctioned Rs 79.99 crore for construction of an international standard sports complex at Faizabad within the next two years.
The state cabinet meeting here, chaired by chief minister Mulayam Singh Yadav, approved the project, for which Rs 10 crore had already been released.
The new sports complex would have astro turf, synthetic track, olympic size swimming pool, cricket field, hostels and other required facilities.
After an ultra-modern stadium at Saifai in Etawah, this would be the second such sports facilities in UP.
