Dravidian linguists conference from June 22
Thiruvananthapuram, June 20 (UNI) The 34th All India Conference of Dravidian Linguists will be held here from June 22 to 24, Dravidian Linguists Association president Puthusseri Ramachandran said today.
Over 150 delegates from the country and abroad would take part in the three-day conference, in which papers related to linguistics would be presented, Mr Ramachandran told a news meet.
About 30 delegates of the Tamil Vijnana Sangam, based at Toronto, Canada were expected to participate in the conference.
Kerala Education Minister M A Baby would inaugurate the commemorative speech on June 23 and Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan would address the linguists on June 24 and also release a book on 'Malayalathinte Bhashabheda Bhoopadangal', he added.
