Dell introduces XPS notebook for mobile digital entertainment

New Delhi, Jun 20 (UNI) Dell today launched the new XPS M1210 notebook, a high performance system featuring design excellence and customer-led innovations, to enable consumers to enjoy digital entertainment around the home or on the road.

Dell's XPS line, introduced for the first time in India, is intended to exceed the requirements of demanding consumers, and is aimed at busy executives and customers preferring the best products and a high level of service.

''The PC continues to be the engine that drives the personal entertainment experience as more consumers see the value of expanding its use for gaming, photos, music and videos,'' Dell India Sales and Marketing Vice President and General Manager Rajan Anandan said.

By combining unique designs, industry leading product features, and superior service and support, the XPS line is to set the standard for entertainment and mobile platforms.

The notebook weighs 1.98kg, and its durable magnesium alloy frame makes it RoadReadyT. Users can play games or enjoy multimedia content with dual-core processors and optional discrete graphics in a 12.1-inch widescreen body.

Customers can configure the XPS M1210 with a communications-friendly audio-visual package that includes an integrated webcam, Skype Internet communication software, video chat software and noise-isolation ear buds.

The XPS M1210, available in India is priced ranging from Rs 59,866, and comes with a 1-year XPS Premier Service6 with 24x7 phone support and 1-year CompleteCoverT7.

Dell's revenue for the year was 56.7 billion dollars.
