Chola launches first personal branch in city

Chennai, Jun 20 (UNI) Cholamandalam DBS Finance Limited (Chola DBS), the financial services joint venture between the Rs 7,300 crore Murugappa Gold and DBS Bank of Singapore, today launched its first personal finance branch at Anna Nagar in the city.

'This branch, offering personal loans to customers in the neighbourhood, is the first in series of five branches planned for launch in Chennai this month. The branches would be fully equipped to handle the entire loan process, from loan enquiry to cheque disbursement,' said Atul Pande, Managing Director, Chola DBS.

Inaugurating the branch, M A Alagappan, Chairman, Chola DBS, said the company had a wide geographical presence in India, spread across 125 locations. 'To this spread we aim to add penetration and cater to the personal finance requirements of customers in every neighbourhood,' he added.
