Agree Ya to open second GDC in Bangalore by year-end at $ 2mln
New Delhi, June 20 (UNI) Agree Ya Solutions, a California-based business and technology solutions company, as part of its plans to expand its India operations, today said it will open its second Global Delivery Centre (GDC) in Bangalore by the year-end, with an investment of two million dollars.
''As we expand our India sales operations, we expect a significant portion of the business coming from this region, which is a hub for talent in emerging technologies,'' Agree Ya Managing Partner&Co-Founder Ajay Kaul told reporters here.
The company plans to hire 100 people for its Bangalore facility inititially, which it plans to ramp upto 500 by the year 2008.
Agree Ya already has a GDC in Noida, a 250-person facility which serves as the back-end solutions development organisation for its overseas customers. ''At present we have 100 people employed there but will take that number to 250 by December this year,'' Agree Ya India MD Arun Sinha said.
The Noida centre, spread over 20,000 square feet provides solutions to MNCs and Indian corporate houses with core focus on verticals including banking and finance, public utilities, healthcare, telecom and retail.
It was set up with an investment of 4 million dollars.
On plans of setting up any more centres in India, Mr Sinha said, ''Currently, we are focussing on the Bangalore centre, but will be looking at Pune and Hyderabad in 2008.'' UNI RA CS KP1427
