3 of family killed in wall collapse

Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu, June 20 (UNI) Three people were killed on the spot in a wall collapse in the wee hours today.

Police identified the deceased as E Anjalai (45), her daughter-in-law Selvi (24) and Selvi's son Saranraj (18 months).

The victims were sleeping in the house when the wall collapsed early this morning due to heavy rainfall which lashed the district last night.

The bodies were sent to the Cuddalore Government Hospital for post-mortem.
