YSR commends Saina Nehwal

Hyderabad, Jun 19 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today commended the outstanding efforts of Saina Nehwal in bringing laurels to the state in badminton both at national and international levels.

Saina (16), hailing from Hyderabad, won the Commonwealth Games Bronze Medal 2006 in Australia as well as the Grand Prix Four Star Philippines Open 2006 in Manila to emerge as Asia's youngest player' to win the Grand Prix.

She called on the Chief Minister at his office today. Dr Reddy hoped the young player would excel with in her performances with renewed zeal and enthusiasm in the years to come.
