Usha's son eyes cricket career
Gwalior, June 19 (UNI) Sprint Queen P T Usha's 13-year-old son Ujjwal is planning to make a career in cricket.
''It is inaccurate to say that other games are bearing the brunt of cricket's popularity,'' she told mediapersons here yesterday.
Usha was in this citadel town to receive the Rani Lakshmi Bai Memorial Virangana Samman.
Pointing out that cricketers were giving good performances, Usha added that tennis sensation Sania Mirza was also doing likewise.
''When a sportsperson's efforts lead to a shower of athletics medals, athletics will also become popular. I am training girls at the Usha School of Athletics in Kerala,'' she claimed.
